Rose for a Kiss

Breathless I watch as the dawn breaks the eastern ridge
Entwined with you, our souls connect, love provides the bridge

Somany paths we've guided,
so many we have followed
But we must remember,
our time here is borrowed

And so my love, I leave for you
a rose for a kiss
For it is you, when we're apart,
that I dearly miss.

Pride & Joy

First is Pride
smart and sharp
quick to learn
and full of heart

Then is Joy
full of life
what a pleasure
with out strife

My two Daughters
happiness to you
in all endevors
through and through.

True Loss

Today I lost a friend
Such pain is hard to mend

In this, my last run
There is nothing left to be won

As my heart slowly dies
The pain will subside

Goodnight my dear friend
May your happiness never end.

The Rain

Cold and wet, yet comforting
Falling from above as a blessing

Quench my thirst with peaceful sounds
While little signs of life abound

The rain brings sweet silence
Ending my own dreadful violence.

Blush Lisp

Words slip away ,
like dreams in the light.
The wine pours smooth,
like silk in the night.

The night grows long,
and feelings twist within.
Like conversation lost,
under the din.

UNTITLED

A hunger for a dream
A silence then a scream

A tear of love
A tear of pain
A tear of happiness
A tear of rain

A drop of blood
A pedal of a rose
A tear falls
A river flows

Then the morning comes
and the world calls
Then I awake
and walk the halls

The dream is gone
and all is new
But the feeling's still there
in the morning dew.
